About us
“Le Blog - Russie et Nouveaux Etats Indépendants” is a team’s work and also an NPO’s one (non profit organization).
Our story began between the year 2000 and the year 2002. A few friends gathered for maintaining contact after comming back from their missions in Russia and CIS countries. All of them spent at least two years there, working for embassies or firms in theses countries, as actors, developers of economic and development relations between East and West. They decided to do promote their experience, or visions. Moments spent there were unforgettable and we just had to make something out of it, something constructive…
At the beginning, we gathered a small network of young experts with contacts amongst cooperation project designers. Our work was published in the Objectif Est review, of which 5 issues were edited and shared by mailing list with a few hundred contacts. Articles were about “opportunities” or “developments” in Russia and CIS countries at a time when mainly negative image on these countries was spread through our medias.
The network grew progressively, and the Russie.fr Association was set up. http://russie.fr/ soon became our main Internet project. The amount of work linked to the site conception and to the editing of our former Objectif Est review became overwhelming for our small team. As an answer, we created this new media, easy to use, with fewer constraints.
Le Blog - Russie et Nouveaux Etats Indépendants was made to go further.
It was thought to take over the former O.E. review, to keep a widened geographical size for thinking, communicating, for promoting our experience. The mission was to renew the style, to ease our development, and widen our network.
Le Blog - “Russie et Nouveaux Etats Indépendants” was thought to increase our sight of the eastern russian speacking countries whitch play a significant role everyday in our very near neighbourhood, in modern Europe.
We do our best for this blog to become a meeting point for experts and professionnals, for projects’ creators and designers, pioneers of the new generation, linked to the Newly Independant States, who wish to join in and build with us. This blog is dedicated to Gathering and promoting :
- Projets which generate sustainable wealth
- Specialists who design these projects, or who could design these projects for the future
“Le Blog - Russie et Nouveaux Etats Indépendants” is a place for cooperation networks, a place for initiatives in sustainable wealth (including sustainable development).
This place is always open for ideas and feedback.
Trying to think about actual overall and local situation, about what could be done to make it better, for it to be transmitted to our children later in the best possible manner… You have ideas, you are creative, you can participate..!
